Arroz Blanco
Ingredients
• | Chicken mince | 1/2 cup |
• | Olive oil | 2 tablespoons |
• | Onion ,chopped | 1 large |
• | Garlic,chopped | 2 cloves |
• | Rice | 1 cup |
• | Chicken stock | 3 cups |
• | Salt | to taste |
• | Crushed white peppercorns | 1 teaspoon |
Method
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until onions are tender. Add rice and chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add chicken mince, salt and crushed peppercorns and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for fifteen minutes or until rice is well cooked and all the liquid is absorbed.
